Undeniably, the world is changing at a constant rate. This rate of change is accelerating due to a variety of factors, including global issues like climate change, changing social values, and technological advancements. One disciplines always come to mind when I consider the future – our future – this is our legal system I know these might sound like dry subjects at first glance. Maybe even a bit intimidating or conventional. But when I really think about building the future I want to live in, these are the foundations we can’t ignore.
This field fascinate me because it has such profound influence. It is not just an academic disciplines – it is a guideline to build our world. That is why I am drawn to it despite(or maybe because of) its complexity. Courtroom life is only a fraction of it. Beyond that, the law speaks for universal issues like girls’ right to attend school regardless of where they reside and freedom of speech. The objective is to create a prejudiced and discrimination-free society when it comes to background, gender, religion, or ethnicity. In this respect, the law is in everyone’s interest, laying the ground for security and justice while providing us with a sense of direction as well. Justice and fairness, however, cannot be the driving force behind progress.
For Generation Z, issues like social justice, and climate finance are more than just news stories. They are a part of our daily lives. And we need the right tools to fully comprehend and address these issues, which is where the law comes in. This discipline aid in the development of long-term solutions. However, generative AI is a new player that is altering the rules. It’s only just beginning to change the way we communicate, work, and learn. For instance, AI is now able to create courtroom transcripts, research legal precedents, and draft documents in the legal field. Tasks that used to take hours now only take minutes. To deal with these areas is even more important than ever as technology changes how we used to live and work.
Trust me, things are about to get even more interesting.
